The Expo is a two day event in Cape Girardeau featuring exhibits, presentations, and activities with a focus on educating visitors about astronomy and science. Here you will find displays on the latest discoveries and developments in space exploration, interactive demonstrations of scientific principles, and activities that are hands-on for exploring the natural world. Visitors will also get the rare opportunity to meet, learn from and interact with astronomy and science experts, like leading researchers, educators, and enthusiasts. Event Details

The SEMO Eclipse Expo will be held at the Show Me Center located on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University. The expo kicks off on Friday, July 21st from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm with a Friday evening panel discussion called “Get Ready for the 2023 and 2024 Solar Eclipses.” Visitors can then go to the public night sky observation following the panel until 10:00 pm. On Saturday, the all-day SEMO Eclipse Expo will be going on from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets are available now, and free for the public if you pre-register, otherwise, ticket purchases are $3 at the door.
