Fresh air and exercise without the crowds. The Goldmoor sits on 21 wooded acres alongside the Mississippi River and only six miles from the historic town of Galena, IL. There are nearby hiking trails that will allow you to spend time in nature, and keep six feet of separation from other nature seekers. Here are a few suggestions: for Mississippi River views try the Casper Bluff Land and Water Reserve, and for scenery, wildlife and multiple trail choices try the Apple River Canyon.

You can rest assured that the entire staff of Goldmoor is following the WHO (World Health Organization) and health department guidelines. Staff will adhere to strict distancing rules, room service will be left outside your door, they have increased regular cleaning of public spaces, and of course your room will be well cleaned during regular maid service. The Goldmoor will ensure you can relax and enjoy your time away from home, and away from the crowds.
