River Travel Magazine, an online publication and podcast once exclusively focusing on communities and attractions on both sides of the Mississippi River’s Great River Road, from Lake Itasca to New Orleans, is now expanding content and stories to include coverage and podcasts on the tributaries and rivers within the entirety of the United States.

For the last couple years, River Travel Magazine has been publishing new weekly stories, podcasts, and announcements exclusively about the Great River Road (currently at 200+ stories & podcasts) but have seen an increased interest in visitors and outdoor enthusiasts searching and asking for content specific to River vacations elsewhere in the nation. We feel River Travel Magazine would be a good avenue to celebrate our many Rivers in the US.

Tourism Entities, Area Convention and Visitors Bureaus, Tourism Commissions, and Chamber of Commerces through the US are asked to share favorite bodies of water in their home states that they feel would be a great addition to write or chat about on the River Travel Magazine platform.

We are offering reach to our River Travel Magazine audiences who are active travel enthusiasts interested in food, shopping and entertainment who come looking for the latest tips, stories, podcasts, and event information on the Great River Road, national river ways and the Great American Road Trip starting at only $50 a month.

We also will also be offering cooperative marketing discounts to attractions, shops, restaurants, and accommodations if  the designated tourism entity in that community or state partners with River Travel Magazine.

We offer a short overview, low pressure, presentation on River Travel Magazine (via zoom), and we would love to chat and share our businesses’ passion for the Great River Road and the many rivers in its bordering states and communities.
