With a commitment to providing unique opportunities for diverse audiences to access the arts, Franconia enhances its rotating exhibitions with programs that include: weekly artist-led guided tours of the park; installation summer camps for youth; Dinner & Discussions with visiting artists; Music @ Franconia Concert Series; the annual Community Collaboration Hot Metal Pour; the new Franconia Outdoor Films series; and a plethora of community programming such as summer Farmer’s Markets, performance art events, and hands-on workshops for youth and adults alike. Franconia offers Internships and Fellowships for both emerging and established artists to live and work on-site in a supportive artistic environment as they create new, experimental work for the park.
Franconia Sculpture Park
Located in the scenic St. Croix River Valley, Franconia Sculpture Park is a nonprofit arts organization operating a 43-acre outdoor museum, active artist residency, and community arts programming. Founded in 1996, Franconia commissions new, experimental work by over 40 artists each year and provides public programs and arts education initiatives for nearly 150,000 annual visitors. Franconia is an engaging and exciting place for audiences of all ages to discover an ever-changing exhibition of contemporary sculpture at the intersection of art and nature.
