USA Rivers | River Travel Magazine is announcing the 2021 Best Holiday River Town Contest final voting round at rivertravelmagazine.com. This national survey focused on the best Holiday Towns along all river communities in the United States from the Mississippi River to the Chattahoochee River in the south to the Clark Fork River and the Santa Ynez River to the west, to the Hudson River in the east, and to everything in between.
Through November 5th, Visitors and locals were encouraged to nominate their favorite Holiday River Towns from around the US based on population and to give a short response for their nomination. Nominations ranged from quaint river towns and small alpine villages with charming holiday traditions to bigger river communities bustling with holiday events and spectacular light shows, coming in from all around the US. Some of the nominated towns and cities included Brookville (IN), Grand Lake (CO), Natchitoches (LA), La Crosse (WI), Missoula (MT), and more.
The final round of voting runs from November 12th through December 3rd with winners being announced December 8th.
River Travel Magazine had opened the nomination survey to all US Rivers inviting the public and river town community members to share what makes their towns so special during the holidays. Only towns located in bordering communities, counties, and parishes on US Rivers were applicable for nomination.
