USA Rivers | River Travel Magazine is announcing the 2021 Best Holiday River Town Contest at rivertravelmagazine.com, this survey is focusing on the best Holiday Towns along all rivers in the United States from the Mississippi River to the Columbia River in the Pacific Northwest to Missouri River and the Rio Grande to the south, to the Ohio River in the east, and to everything in between.
Visitors and locals are encouraged to nominate river communities in the US. The nomination period runs until November 5, visitors and locals are invited to nominate their favorite Holiday River Towns based on population.
The final round of voting runs from November 12th through December 3rd with winners being announced December 8th.
In 2020, Hundreds of survey takers nominated their favorite communities along the Great River Road, and thousands more voted on the final results. 70+ River Towns from 10 states were nominated for the final round. This year, River Travel Magazine has opened the Survey to all US Rivers inviting the public and river town community members to share what makes their towns so special during the holidays.
The survey is open to the public. Only towns located in bordering communities, counties, and parishes on US Rivers are applicable for nomination.
