Holiday Season Christmas Tours in Little Falls, Minnesota!
Ring in the holiday season with a trip to Little Falls, Minnesota! Starting after Thanksgiving and running through the first week of December, Little Falls is holding 4 fabulous Christmas tours. From Christmas at the Mansions to Christmas Tree Lane, these tours featured holiday shopping opportunities, Christmas décor, and reenactments for all to enjoy. The Little Falls’ Christmas tours are a great way to start off your holiday season and find some unique gifts for those on your gift list.
The first tour, Christmas at the Mansions, is held at the Linden Hill Historic Estate, a Little Falls destination listed on the National Register of Historical Places. The Musser and Weyerhaeuser mansions will be decorated for the holiday season with Christmas décor outdoors and in every room. You can enjoy a self guided tour through both mansions, taking in the Christmas lights and decorations. After touring the mansions, you can visit Laura Jane’s Gift Shoppe before leaving to find some unique gifts for everyone on your list.
Another Christmas tour will be held at the Minnesota Fishing Museum and Hall of Fame in Little Falls. This Christmas tour will feature a beautiful Christmas Tree Lane and various special displays on sale for the silent auction. You can bid on over one hundred items, including 75 Christmas trees and a variety of wreaths and gift baskets to use in your own home or as Christmas gifts for friends and family. The auction will be open from 12:00pm – 7:00pm daily, and will end on Sunday, December 5th. Be sure to check out the O-Fish-L Gift Shop at the museum for more shopping, and bring the kids on the weekends to get pictures with Santa.
The historic Charles Lindbergh House and Museum is the location of another Little Falls Christmas Tour. The museum will be putting on reenactments of the holidays of 100 years ago for all to enjoy. You can step back in time and enjoy the costumed interpreters, learn all about holiday traditions of the past, and experience how the holidays may have felt on the Lindbergh Farm a century ago. The tour will be open Friday and Saturdays from 10:00am – 4:00pm and Sundays from 11:00am – 4:00pm.
The final Little Falls Christmas tour will take place at the Rosenmeier Home, which also serves as the Little Falls Visitor Center. The historic Rosenmeier Home is on the National Register of Historic Places, and the home was first built in 1903. On the Christmas Tour, you will have the opportunity to go on a self-guided tour through the Nutcracker Suite. The home will be tastefully decorated on the interior and exterior, and the tour is a great time to see it dressed up for the holidays. The tour is open Mondays through Saturdays from 1:00 – 7:00pm and Sundays from 11:00am to 6:00pm.
