Shafer, Minnesota: Franconia Sculpture Park is excited to announce that Ellina Kevorkian has been hired as the Residency Director, responsible for overseeing the Park’s four residency programs. She will join Franconia full-time on March 23, 2020.
Kevorkian comes to Franconia with experience as an artist, curator, arts administrator and residency director, including ten years’ professional experience in exhibition planning and as well as serving as artistic director for residency programs at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, Nebraska. She shares my passion for supporting contemporary artists and developing residency programs that allow artists to experiment and make connections to the greater art world. Ellina will be a great asset to Franconia as we continue to expand our mission and vision for the future.”
