The Goldmoor Executive Chef Joshua Roberts has prepared a summer menu filled with crisp, clean flavors that is now available seven days a week. Fine dining at the Goldmoor combines the elegant setting of the Inn with the rolling hills of Galena, IL and stunning views of the Mississippi River. The seasonally crafted menu sources food from local farmers in Illinois and Iowa. Dedicated to fresh food with a side of farm to table, the Goldmoor grows its own garden vegetables at a nearby farm. This summer menu features guest favorites and new entrees such as a Salmon Polpetta Salad featuring cedar smoked salmon cake and Northern Iowa Filet Mignon. Delicious.

~THE DINING EXPERIENCE~

You can choose your experience when dining at the Goldmoor. Sit within their elegant and welcoming restaurant, or have a drink on the outdoor patio, choosing from Goldmoor’s extensive wine selection. Perhaps you would prefer the three season gazebo with a view of the Mississippi River and the horse farms below the Inn or the private boardroom with seating for ten. For a one of a kind dining experience (currently not available due to Covid 19 – but definitely to be kept in mind for the future) choose the Chef’s Table within the Goldmoor’s expansive kitchen with a view of the inner workings of a professional fine dining restaurant.

A delicious menu, breathtaking views, and your health is considered. All staff and patrons must wear a mask when entering the restaurant and moving about. Seating has been separated to allow for six feet of social distancing. The staff take every precaution and they make it easy for you to relax and remain safe.
