La Crosse Winter Roots Festival is an invitation to celebrate local and regional music, cuisine, artists, makers, brewers, and distillers from the greater La Crosse, Wisconsin. Taking place Saturday, February 12th, 2022, this event will be held at the newly constructed Riverside Ballroom at the La Crosse Center, right on the banks of the Mississippi River. La Crosse Winter Roots Festival is a great way to discover all the food, music and arts culture that the area has to offer.

Supporting local community artists, makers, and musicians, as well as giving back to the greater La Crosse area communities, La Crosse Winter Roots Festival is about celebrating the community in more ways than one. The event will connect community members and visitors with local talents from painters and crafters to bands and singer-songwriters to bakers and many more skilled individuals and small businesses in the area. The festival is also partnering with The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse to raise $10,000 and collect 5,000 pounds of food to help those in need.

Local Artists, Makers, and Musicians

Dedicated to celebrating artists, makers, and musicians; La Crosse Winter Roots Festival will feature a variety of local talents throughout the day. Festival goers will see works of many mediums including textiles, felting, jewelry, acrylic, sculpture, woodworking,and metalwork. Plus there will be a variety of makers focused on aromatics, botanicals, candle making, baked goods, and more. The live musical entertainment will feature regional favorites like Dan Sebranek and Company, Reed Grimm, TUGG, The Remainders, and Gregg Hall & The Wrecking Ball. And the event will be closed by the Trippin Billies, the most renowned Dave Matthews tribute band in the nation.

Running from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm, the La Crosse winter Roots Festival will be an evening full of entertainment, food, and drinks, but there are a few featured events festival goers won’t want to miss out on. The Hunger task Force will be hosting various fundraising activities during the event including silent and live auctions. The Driftless Maker’s Exchange will also be bringing in 20+ artists and makers from around the region, such as The Blue Hippo, Katie Stevenson Art & Jewelry, Flying Cat Art Studio, the Quarter Mile Forge, Red Lantern Leatherworks, EATT Dried Goods, Kitchypoo, and more.

V.I.P. Experience Presented by the La Crosse Distilling

La Crosse Winter Roots Festival goers can choose between buying general admission tickets and VIP tickets for the event. The VIP tickets include early admission to the event and access to the V.I.P Experience presented by the La Crosse Distilling Co. The VIP experience includes early access to the show for a special craft hour, a commemorative pint glass and sticker, a choice of a complimentary Fieldnotes Bloody Mary, the Winter Roots “Gazi” Black Lager, or soft drink. VIP ticket holders can also look forward to a private viewing area near the main stage, musician meet and greets, additional La Crosse Distilling Co. craft beverages, and the ultimate La Crosse Winter Roots Festival event experience.

Event Details

La Crosse Winter Roots Festival will be held on February 12th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm in the Riverside Ballroom at the La Crosse Center. Admission tickets can be purchased online or you can pick up tickets at La Crosse Center Box Office, Mon-Fri 11-5 PM. Purchase your tickets before February 11th for a pre-show discount, or the day of the event for full price. General admission tickets are $20.00 and VIP tickets are $30.00 up until February 11th, or $25.00 and $35.00 the day of the event. VIP admission tickets will include a curated V.I.P experience presented by the La Crosse Distilling Co. and early admission access at 2:00 pm. All tickets include a $1.50 Hunger Task Force Donation and fees.
