Brother Ali

Brother Ali recently surprise dropped the album “Secrets & Escapes”. Produced by Evidence who he is currently touring with. Pre-show, a group of lucky fans got to engage in an intimate performance along with a meet and greet where Brother Ali spent one-on one time with his fans. He promotes a lot of self love and is widely respected in the Hip Hop community. As an encore, Evidence returned to the stage to perform their song “Red” together.

Nur-D

Matt Allen AKA Nur-D is quickly rising in the hip hop scene out of Minneapolis, packed with the hunger of a new rising artist in one of the best independent hip hop scenes. His infectiously positive energy rocked a full crowd at First Avenue. Everybody in the house was talking about Nur-D’s set, and that explains why Rhymesayers invited him to tour with Brother Ali in December. This was the 2nd to last show of that tour. It was Nur-D’s first time performing at First Avenue, the crowd loved it and the Star Tribune named his album “Songs About Stuff” one of the best local albums of 2019.

Evidence

Evidence was greeted by a packed crowd of excited fans, hailing from Venice Beach California, he brings a west coast style with deep introspective lyrics.  Often drawing comparisons of life to the weather, which is how he got the nickname The Weatherman. Evidence is one-third of the hip hop group Dilated Peoples, an independent Rhymesayers artist.
