Best of the River is focused on the best attractions, accommodations, food & drink, and trails & tours along the Great River Road from northern Minnesota down to the Gulf of Mexico.

1.Potosi Brewery (Potosi, WI)
Re-founded on its original site in 2008, the Potosi Brewing Company has brought craft brewing back to Main Street Potosi, Wisconsin.
2.Green Tree Brewery (LeClaire, IA)
The Green Tree was a gathering place for riverboat pilots and provided shade and refuge for men coming to LeClaire in search of jobs on the riverboats.
3.Bent River Brewing Company (Moline, IL)
Unique neighborhood brew pub in the historic district of downtown Moline, IL. Featuring some of the Midwest’s best craft beers–including the one and only, Uncommon Stout.
4.The Old Bakery Beer Company (Alton, IL)
In addition to the lineup of all organic beers, this restaurant and tasting room features a menu of seasonally-rotating sandwiches, salads, and soups.
5.Toppling Goliath Brewing Co (Decorah, IA)
Large two story taproom featuring a gift shop, fireplace, two bars, views of the brewery and stunning sunsets. Come enjoy a pint or two in this beautiful taproom/brewery.
