Mid West Music Fest Presents: Songs for Sippin’. The tasting and fundraiser was held at Weber Center for the Performing Arts, where attendees were given an custom MWMF tasting glass for craft beer, wine, cider, or N/A drinks of their choice, along with two musical guests. Proceeds for the tickets went towards the non-profit work of Mid West Music Fest.

The Cactus Blossoms kicked off the first music segment, as the countrified music duo from Minneapolis soothed the crowd with vintage harmonies.

Grammy award winning, multi-instrumentalist songwriter Dom Flemons, of Carolina Chocolate Drops finished off the night. Dom captivated the crowd as he began his set playing the rhythm bones, and picking up several more instruments including the banjo, harmonica and quills. In between songs he would shared stories of travel and a rich knowledge of African American history, and how that shaped his music.
