4.National Great Rivers Museum (Alton, IL)

The museum features kid-friendly, interactive and computer animated exhibits. Steer a towboat, measure your water consumption, or come face-to-face with river fish.

5.LARK Toys (Wabasha County, MN)

The carousel at LARK Toys is unlike any other carousel in the world. Hand-carved from Minnesota basswood and with exquisite detail, each animal is a rideable work of art.
